The LNG terminal in Zeebrugge is the gateway for the supply of LNG (liquefied natural gas) in North-West Europe. LNG unloaded at the terminal can be redistributed for purchase on the Belgian market, traded on Hub Zeebrugge or transported to other end-user markets in all directions: the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, France and Southern Europe. We are looking for a Panel Operator (m/f/x) for the LNG Terminal in Zeebrugge. Job purpose As a Panel Operator at our LNG terminal in Zeebrugge, you will monitor and control the entire process installation from the control room to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation. Through precise coordination between operators and other disciplines, you will contribute to the reliability, safety and operational excellence of the terminal. Your responsibilities You will operate under the supervision of a Shift Supervisor From the control room, you will monitor the entire process and the safety system of the LNG terminal You analyze and interpret the indications of incoming alarms and take the necessary action, and this during normal operation and in emergency situations You prepare the daily reports and complete the necessary checklists You give the necessary instructions to the operators in the field You monitor the loading and unloading of LNG ships and the loading of lorries Depending on your availability, you perform minor maintenance tasks About you A secondary school diploma in Mechanics, Electricity or Electronics, or equivalent experience Relevant practical experience in a process or energy environment The ability to work under pressure and take the right process actions quickly and independently The ability to strictly follow procedures and instructions A good knowledge of the MS Office package (Word and Excel). Knowledge of SAP is an advantage Very good knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of English This position also requires: Inclusion in a continuous shift system (early/late/night/day/weekend) A driving licence B Why should you apply?
