ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his client a Project Manager Platform Engineering Project Overview Our Platform Engineering division provides development teams with a range of shared platforms, products, and services designed to accelerate application delivery while ensuring security, standardization, and operational efficiency. Key domains include:
• Community Cloud and Public Cloud platforms.
• CI/CD and Software Factory services.
• Databases and DBaaS.
• Middleware services (API Gateway, Messaging, Load Balancing, Routing, WAF, etc.).
• Observability platforms.
• Developer tools and services. Role We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead strategic cross-functional initiatives across multiple Platform Engineering teams. In a rapidly evolving technology environment, the successful candidate will coordinate complex programs involving technical teams, service managers, architects, and leadership stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the division’s strategy and priorities. Responsibilities
• Lead complex cross-functional infrastructure and platform projects.
• Coordinate dependencies and deliverables across multiple teams.
• Manage project plans, risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
• Prepare executive reporting and project status updates.
• Contribute to the definition and execution of strategic roadmaps.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between initiatives and organizational objectives.
• Drive governance, visibility, and prioritization of strategic programs. Key Initiatives Platform Security Program Lead and coordinate a division-wide security roadmap focused on:
• Secrets management (Vault).
• Identity, access, and privilege management.
• Data and communication encryption.
• Certificate lifecycle management.
• Auditability and compliance. Public Cloud Adoption Support the organization’s cloud transformation by:
• Coordinating onboarding activities across teams.
• Ensuring consistency in technical decisions.
• Identifying training and enablement needs.
• Consolidating organizational, technical, and operational impacts. CI/CD Program
• Coordinate CI/CD initiatives with architects and technical leads.
• Track progress and promote modern software delivery practices.
• Drive adoption of DevOps and automation capabilities. Business Unit Enablement
• Coordinate initiatives aimed at increasing development team autonomy.
• Ensure adherence to governance, standards, and shared platform strategies.
• Provide visibility into progress and dependencies. Platform Services Portfolio Management
• Monitor platform service roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross-service dependencies.
• Consolidate reporting and portfolio visibility.
• Improve communication toward internal customers.
• Ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Required Experience
• Proven experience managing complex technical projects or cross-functional programs.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary infrastructure, cloud, or platform teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
• Experience preparing executive-level reporting and steering committees. Preferred Technical Knowledge
