• Analyse business needs and current processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into structured and actionable documentation.
• Facilitate workshops to gather input, align expectations, and refine requirements.
• Support the development and optimisation of business processes within an ICT context.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment across multiple interests and priorities.
• Contribute to the assessment of tenders and RFPs when required.
• Operate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment and support coordination across different workstreams. Technical Skills
• Proven experience in complex environments.
• Strong background in general business operations applied to ICT.
• Experience in a Business Analyst role, including processing and structuring information.
• Experience with business process management (BPM) and process optimisation.
• Knowledge of project management aspects such as cost, timing, coordination, planning, and estimates.
• Experience with stakeholder management.
• Experience facilitating workshops.
• Experience with public-sector work is considered an asset.
• Experience evaluating RFPs is considered an asset.
• Experience with public procurement tenders is considered an asset.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 people is considered an asset. Profile
• Senior-level experience in business analysis and related business operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure information clearly and efficiently.
• Confident stakeholder communicator who can build alignment across diverse groups.
• Comfortable working in a complex and fast-moving environment.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to process improvement and requirements gathering.
• NDA signature is required. Practical Information
• Work
location:
mainly Brussels, with occasional presence in Ghent.
• The external consultant works with a personal laptop and receives virtual access to the client environment.
• Interviews are expected to take place within two weeks after the submission deadline.
• This is a long-term consulting opportunity.
