Over de job Ons finance-team bedient beide vennootschappen en groeit mee met onze ambities. Als Accountant vorm je samen met onze ervaren collega-accountant een hecht duo. Samen verzorgen jullie de volledige boekhouding van A tot Z voor LAB Motion Systems en Orion Laser Tech: van de verwerking van aankoopfacturen tot en met de maand
- en jaarafsluiting. Jullie kennen allebei alle taken en processen door en door, zodat de boekhouding altijd vlot en correct doorloopt, ook tijdens vakanties of afwezigheden. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CFO. Je krijgt een grondige inwerkperiode in onze processen en systemen, zodat je snel zelfstandig aan de slag kunt. Verantwoordelijkheden
• Aankoopfacturen in Odoo verwerken en mee bewaken dat dit proces vlot en efficiënt verloopt, inclusief matching met bestellingen en ontvangsten
• Leveranciersbeheer: stamgegevens, betalingsvoorstellen, betalingsbatches en opvolging van openstaande posten
• Opmaak en opvolging van verkoopfacturen, debiteurenbeheer en betalingsherinneringen
• Verwerken en afpunten van bankuittreksels en opvolging van de dagelijkse cashpositie
• Verwerken van de loonboekingen en beheer van de vaste activa
• Maandelijkse afsluitingen: periodeafgrenzingen, afschrijvingen, voorzieningen, intercompany-boekingen
• Btw-aangiftes, intracommunautaire opgaven en jaarlijkse klantenlisting
• Voorbereiding van de jaarafsluiting en ondersteuning bij de opmaak van de jaarrekening en de aangifte vennootschapsbelasting
• Samen met je collega verantwoordelijk zijn voor de volledige boekhouding van beide vennootschappen, zodat jullie elkaars taken naadloos kunnen overnemen en de continuïteit altijd gegarandeerd is
• De automatisering van onze financiële processen in Odoo actief mee aansturen: je spot verbeterpunten, werkt oplossingen uit en zet ze om in de praktijk
• Procedures en interne controles mee uitwerken en actueel houden, zodat alle processen helder gedocumenteerd zijn Vaardigheden
• Bachelor in accountancy-fiscaliteit of gelijkwaardig
• Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie, bij voorkeur in een KMO of productieomgeving
• Je hebt ervaring met de volledige boekhoudcyclus van A tot Z, of je beheerst er al een groot deel van en wil snel het geheel in handen nemen
• Goede kennis van de Belgische boekhoudwetgeving en btw
• Ervaring met Odoo is een sterke troef; je bent vertrouwd met een ERP-pakket en vlot met Excel
• Je bent gepassioneerd door automatisering en efficiënte processen en neemt daarin graag zelf het initiatief
• Je bent nauwkeurig en gestructureerd en weet dat een correcte verwerking van aankoopfacturen en bankuittreksels de basis is van een betrouwbare boekhouding. Die verwerking is vandaag al deels geautomatiseerd en daar willen we nog veel verder in gaan, zodat jij je tijd kan besteden aan het werk waar je expertise echt het verschil maakt
• Je werkt zelfstandig, bent een echte teamspeler en communiceert vlot met leveranciers, klanten en collega’s
• Goede kennis van het Nederlands en het Engels Ons aanbod

About the role
Our finance team serves both companies and grows along with our ambitions. As Accountant, you form a close-knit duo with our experienced fellow accountant. Together, you handle the full accounting cycle from A to Z for LAB Motion Systems and Orion Laser Tech: from processing purchase invoices through to the monthly and year-end closing. You both know all tasks and processes inside out, so accounting always runs smoothly and accurately, including during holidays or absences. You report directly to the CFO. You will receive a thorough onboarding in our processes and systems, so you can quickly work fully independently. Responsibilities
• Processing purchase invoices in Odoo and helping ensure this process runs smoothly and efficiently, including matching with purchase orders and receipts
• Supplier management: master data, payment proposals, payment runs and follow-up of open items
• Preparing and following up sales invoices, credit management and payment reminders
• Processing and reconciling bank statements and monitoring the daily cash position
• Processing payroll entries and managing fixed assets
• Monthly closing: accruals and deferrals, depreciation, provisions, intercompany entries
• VAT returns, intra-EU listings and the annual customer listing
• Preparing the year-end closing and supporting the preparation of the annual accounts and the corporate income tax return
• Sharing responsibility with your colleague for the full accounting of both companies, so you can seamlessly take over each other’s tasks and continuity is always ensured
• Actively driving the automation of our financial processes in Odoo: you spot improvements, develop solutions and put them into practice
• Helping to develop and maintain procedures and internal controls, so that all processes are clearly documented Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and taxation, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an SME or manufacturing environment
• You have experience with the full accounting cycle from A to Z, or you already master a large part of it and want to take ownership of the whole cycle quickly
• Good knowledge of Belgian accounting legislation and VAT
• Experience with Odoo is a strong asset; you are familiar with an ERP system and proficient in Excel
• You are passionate about automation and efficient processes and like to take the initiative yourself
• You are accurate and structured and know that correct processing of purchase invoices and bank statements is the foundation of reliable accounting. This processing is already partly automated today, and we want to go much further, so you can spend your time on the work where your expertise truly makes a difference
• You work independently, are a true team player and communicate easily with suppliers, customers and colleagues
