Responsibilities Job Purpose: Management and organization of PTFE, Glasgow and CSS Operations according to Divisional Sales and earnings targets. Profitably grow of PTFE, Glasgow and CSS business in Europe according to Divisional growth strategy Job Responsibilities Management of PTFE, CSS and O&G operations in Glasgow (UK), Boom (BE) Regular exchange with CSS and participation in PTFE and O&G global HPT to align growth targets, target markets, customers, product and process development, pricing and improvement of customer service. Business Development responsibility according to business plan within the Business Unit Scope Grow the business profitable according to strategic planning and positioning towards the attack markets and market trends Grow the customer base with improvement of growth pipeline and quote hit rate Provide leadership and direction for the teams in all locations. Liaise between locations and the Corporation, Group and Division. Develop new manufacturing technologies and/or make use of new supplier to fulfil customer demand. Define short and long term strategic targets for the Business Unit and execute the related action plans to enable growth Perform financial and operational planning and execute the related action plans. Implement Parker Win Strategy initiatives to attain Premier Customer Service, Financial Performance and Profitable Growth Ensure maximum utilization of company assets (building, spares, machine tools and equipment, people and materials). Develop processes, systems and tools for high quality sealing manufacturing and distribution. Ensure that all locations comply with all relevant norms, ISO-standards, design requirements and work instructions. Cooperate with HR for personnel and organization development / talent & succession management Close Cooperation with Division Marketing and Engineering & Innovation Ensure working standards according to EHS requirements Staffing to ensure a highly qualified workforce Qualifications Qualifications, Skills &

Experience:
Mechanical/ manufacturing engineer or Master of Business Administration with experience in Marketing of PTFE, Metal and Rubber seals, strong technical background and ability to manage the production > 5 years working experience and at least 3 year Management experience in an international environment Knowledge of CNC machining PTFE/ Plastic/ Metal and lathe cutting Excellent leadership skills Commercial experience in Aerospace, Energy and O&G market Strong analytical skills Negotiation skills and commercial judgment as well as knowledge of sales processes Project management skills in conjunction with sales/marketing and manufacturing experience Excellent knowledge of the Lean tools and about their implementation Willing and capable of facilitating change in organizations General understanding of financial and cost accounting practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluent in English, any other language would be an asset Equal Employment Opportunity Parker is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on grounds of age, race, religion, ethnic origin, sex, sexsual orientation or disability in relation to recruitment and employment.
