We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Integration Test Engineer (SWE.5) to join our team of verification and validation experts. This team is responsible for the software integration and Qualification testing of embedded software for hybrid powertrain products, ensuring the interfaces between software components work correctly and contributing to enhancing the safety, performance, and efficiency of cutting-edge automotive technologies.

Key Responsibilities
• Define DVPs for software integration testing (ASPICE SWE.5) of embedded software, based on SWE.2 design decisions.
• Define and execute the integration test strategy and test plan (ASPICE SWE.5), based on software architecture and requirements.
• Design and implement integration test cases to validate interfaces between BSW and ASW, as well as between BSW components, ensuring traceability to requirements and software architecture.
• Use the Lauterbach debugger to trace, analyze, and support the resolution of software integration issues.
• Automate test cases where applicable, analyze and document test results, and report defects, ensuring traceability and collaborating closely with software architects and developers on root-cause analysis.
• Support the maintenance of test setups and benches, and contribute to the continuous improvement of integration testing methods and tooling. Required Qualifications
• Experience with embedded software integration testing, and a good understanding of microcontroller architecture and electronics is a must.
• Good experience in testing ASPICE SWE.5 (integration testing) is a must.
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR (BSW and ASW architecture) SEW.2 is a must.
• Good experience using the Lauterbach debugger (TRACE32) for testing, debugging, and analyzing embedded software is a must.
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software verification and integration testing,.
• Good reading and analysis skills in C and C++, to understand embedded software under test;
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, XCP, UDS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; an independent, systematic worker with a goal-oriented, analytical mindset who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Good written and spoken English. Preferred Skills
• Python for test automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive test tools and automation frameworks (Vector, dSpace AutomationDesk, Vector CANoe, vTestStudio) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with HiL /SiL testing methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with requirements management and defect-tracking tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jira) is a plus.
