We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join an international project for a major European organization, working on high-impact international projects. You will be involved indesign, develop, and monitor web, API, and back-end test automation, driving the transition from manual testing to continuous test integration and the DevSecOps approach for enterprise grant management and expert solutions. MUST have for this challenge ✅
• University degree, EQF Level 6 + minimum 7 years of professional IT experience.
• B2 level or higher English, spoken and written.
• 7 years of experience in test automation for mobile, web, API/back-end, and related quality engineering domains.
• 7 years of experience developing automated tests with Java.
• 7 years of solid experience in CI/CD and integration of automated tests, using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitrise, or CircleCI.
• 4 years of experience automating REST APIs.
• 5 years of knowledge of JavaScript and Python for developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• 2 years of experience delivering training in manual and automated testing.
• 2 years of experience with integration testing using SoapUI.
• 1 year of experience with UN/CEFACT FLUX (Fisheries Language for Universal eXchange).
• 1 year of experience working with public institutions.
• ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification. Additional Relevant Skills
• Design of reusable automation frameworks, reduction of manual regression effort, cross-browser/distributed execution, and automated reporting.
• Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Protractor, Sikuli, Ranorex, Selenium WebDriver, and REST Assured.
• Database validation, desktop automation, multi-protocol integration testing, and preparation of XML test data.
• Maven, Gradle, and Ant; AWS; Jira and TFS.
• Automated test generation with generative AI, always subject to prior authorization and without exposing confidential information.
• Defect analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and bug reporting.
• CI/CD, continuous testing, shift-left, automation architecture, and transition from manual to automated testing.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with external stakeholders, manage multiple workflows, and create technical documentation. Certifications Required: ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level.
