Network Solution Architect

For an international and technologically advanced organization, we are looking for an experienced Network Solution Architect / Senior Network Engineer. • Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months+, with the possibility of extension
• Workload: Full-time
• On-site presence: Minimum 3 days per week
• Languages: Dutch and English Your Role As a Network Solution Architect, you will be part of the Infrastructure Networking & Connectivity team, contributing to the development of the organization's future network architecture. You will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and future-proof network solutions and supporting their technical implementation in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Responsibilities
• Design and develop enterprise network and connectivity solutions.
• Define, maintain, and continuously improve network standards and technical roadmaps.
• Take technical ownership of the network domain, evaluating and integrating new technologies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into concrete solutions.
• Provide technical guidance throughout project design, implementation, and migration phases.
• Collaborate with internal infrastructure teams, security specialists, and external vendors.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation and architecture documents. Must-Have Skills Strong knowledge of the following areas:
• LAN
• WLAN
• Routing & Switching
• DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
• Network Security
• Firewalls
• Network Access Control (NAC)
• Web Application Firewalls (WAF) Additional

requirements:
• Proven experience in network architecture within enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Cisco networking infrastructure.
• Experience with security and connectivity solutions in complex organizations.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Nice-to-Have Skills

Your Profile
• Senior Network Engineer, Network Architect, or Infrastructure Architect with hands-on experience in a Solution Architect role.
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Team player with the ability to engage stakeholders and gain alignment on technical decisions.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality.
• Comfortable working at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.
