Product Manager – Technical Sales Advisor

As Product Manager – Technical Sales Advisor, you are the person who makes that promise real for customers and colleagues alike. You will own the technical heart of our product portfolio while standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the sales team in front of customers. You are fully accountable for the outcomes – not just the activities – and your work directly drives commercial results.
• High-level scope: accountable for the strategy and commercial performance of Kebony’s exterior timber domain, primarily cladding, custom profiles and their accessories, ensuring the range meets market needs and fits the wider portfolio.
• Team context: sits within a cross‑functional product & commercial team, contributing technical leadership and market insight while coordinating decisions with Sales, Marketing, Production and Finance. Product Portfolio Management
• Own technical product data and knowledge across the Kebony portfolio, covering cladding, decking, and related product lines
• Produce and maintain profile designs and technical drawings; handle feasibility assessments and planning for custom requests
• Ensure accurate and timely communication with Finance, Production, Marketing, and Sales on all product data and changes
• Manage special and custom product requests end-to-end – from concept and feasibility through to execution and delivery Sales & Customer Technical Advisory
• Be the primary technical partner for the Sales team – providing timely, expert guidance on customer and specifier enquiries across architects, contractors, and distributors
• Deliver internal and external product training, enabling the sales team to pitch and specify Kebony products with confidence Product Development & Project Management
• Translate market trends and customer needs into product concepts or solutions, validating both the technical and commercial fit for Kebony
• Coordinate product launches and portfolio updates, ensuring all data is complete across systems before go-to-market Your commitment to the team –

• Act as the liaison between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Production – ensuring every team has the product knowledge they need to do their best work
• Guard Kebony’s quality and accuracy standards in all product information
• Share market and customer insights proactively with the broader team – feeding the product roadmap and helping Kebony stay ahead of market demands
• Build and maintain strong external relationships with customers, specifiers, certification bodies, and technical partners that reflect Kebony’s values What we are looking for: Experience, Qualifications & Skills Essential
• Experience in building materials, construction products, or timber markets – you understand the language of specifiers, contractors, and architects
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills – able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver on time
• Able to combine technical knowledge with a commercial mindset
• Collaborative by nature – you build trust across teams and thrive in a cross-functional environment
• Fluent in English; Dutch, French, or German proficiency is an advantage Nice to Have
• AutoCAD 2D proficiency for profile and technical drawings
• Experience with masterdata governance or PIM system administration
• Knowledge of building standards, norms, and certification processes
• Comfortable working with PIM, CRM, and ERP systems – detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy Specific
• Focus split (indicative): 50% product & portfolio management, 40% sales & customer advisory, 10% product development & project management
• Travel: up to 30% – customer visits, trade shows, and key European markets
