What You'll Do
As the Senior Partner Sales Executive based in Hong Kong, you will lead Teradata's partner-led go-to-market across Greater China, driving partner-sourced revenue and expanding market coverage through AI ISVs, systems integrators (SIs), resellers and distributors in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. You will be responsible for developing strategic partner relationships, building new routes-to-market, and creating joint go-to-market motions that accelerate adoption of Teradata's Autonomous Knowledge Platform and AI solutions. Success in this role will be measured by partner-generated pipeline, revenue growth, partner activation, market expansion, and the overall effectiveness of the indirect sales ecosystem. The Market Opportunity Greater China is one of the most significant regions in the world for AI, data and analytics. Enterprises across financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail and the public sector are moving from AI experimentation to deployment at scale. As they do, they are finding that trusted, governed and high-performance data foundations are the deciding factor in whether AI delivers business value. This is driving strong demand for modern data platforms, real-time analytics, and the emerging wave of generative and agentic AI applications built on enterprise data. Each market offers a distinct opportunity. Hong Kong is a regional hub for financial services and multinational corporations, with strong demand for data-driven transformation and cross-border data capabilities. Taiwan pairs a world-class technology and manufacturing base with a growing push to apply AI and analytics across the enterprise. China, with its scale, deep AI talent pool and government-backed digital agenda, remains one of the largest long-term opportunities in Asia Pacific, and it calls for a locally informed, partner-led approach. Customers in all three markets rely heavily on local partners for solution delivery, implementation and market access. Partners are therefore central to capturing this opportunity, and this role sits at the heart of that growth.

Key responsibilities
include:
• Own and grow the partner revenue business across Greater China through strategic partner-led go-to-market execution and pipeline generation, with a clear business plan for each of Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.
• Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate high-potential ISV, SI, reseller and distributor partners aligned to Teradata's AI, analytics, and data platform strategy.
• Develop and execute joint business plans, including demand generation campaigns, co-sell motions, solution bundling, and partner-led sales initiatives tailored to local industries and buying behavior.
• Build and scale a partner-led coverage model across markets and segments where Teradata is expanding its indirect sales motion, including dedicated coverage and a regular governance cadence with key distributors and partners.
• Drive partner-sourced opportunities through the full sales lifecycle in collaboration with account executives, solution engineering, customer success, and marketing teams.
• Establish partner enablement programs, certifications, incentive structures, and readiness initiatives that accelerate partner productivity and independence.
• Navigate the regulatory, data-sovereignty and commercial requirements specific to each market, including data localization, cross-border data transfer and personal data protection rules such as China's Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law and Personal Information Protection Law, Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, and Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Work with Legal, Finance and Product to structure partner models and commercial terms that comply with them, particularly in China.
• Manage pipeline governance, forecasting accuracy, deal registration, and partner compliance while providing market intelligence and strategic recommendations to APJ leadership. Who You'll Work With You will be part of Teradata's APJ Partner Organization and work closely with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, Customer Success Architects, Marketing, Partner Enablement, and Product teams. This role serves as a senior relationship owner across the partner ecosystem, engaging with executive stakeholders at ISVs, Global and Regional System Integrators, resellers, and distributors across Greater China. You will report to the APJ Partner Sales leadership team and play a critical role in expanding Teradata's market reach and accelerating partner-driven growth. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
• 15+ years of enterprise technology sales, partner sales, alliance management, channel sales, or business development experience, including at least 5 years in Greater China, with a proven track record in two or more of Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written, is required for executive-level negotiation, partner enablement and business planning discussions. Cantonese is an advantage.
• Proven success building and managing partner ecosystems involving ISVs, System Integrators, cloud providers, or channel partners.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue growth through partner-led and indirect sales motions.
• Deep understanding of the partner ecosystems and buying dynamics in each market, including local distributors, SIs, ISVs and cloud providers, and how they differ across Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China.
• Experience developing executive-level relationships and influencing C-suite stakeholders, including at local partners.
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and business planning capabilities within a complex enterprise software environment. What You'll Bring
• Experience in AI, analytics, cloud, data platforms, SaaS, or enterprise software markets.
• Strong understanding of co-sell models, partner business planning, channel development, and ecosystem growth strategies.
• Ability to develop compelling joint value propositions and solution narratives that resonate with customers and partners.
• Experience launching new market coverage models and scaling indirect sales programs.
• Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with the ability to align stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams.
• Strategic thinking combined with operational rigor and disciplined execution.
• Experience working within global matrix organizations and managing multiple partner types simultaneously.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% of the time across Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China, and occasionally within APJ, for partner governance reviews, customer meetings, events and executive engagements.
