The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, the willingness to learn, innovate, share, take initiatives and be a Team player. Job: As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, automating, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure and solutions that supports data intelligence, analytics, and AI.
· You will be involved in solutions hosted on AWS architecture (DMS, EMR, S3, Glue, Athena, QuickSight, … ).
· You will develop and automate data ingestion pipelines and ETL processes using state-of-the-art technologies (Python, Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks, Kafka, … ).
· You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements.
· You will ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
· You will design scalable and efficient data schemas and queries to meet business needs.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Proven experience (could be academic) as Data Engineer. Junior are welcome
· Experience in SQL and with relational databases. NoSQL Database know-how is cool too.
· Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Delta Lake, Databricks, …)
· Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python.
· Experience with cloud platforms and related data services, ideally AWS but could be Azure or GCP.
· Knowledge of data modelling, ETL concepts, and data integration best practices.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Bitbucket, Git, …).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
