Job Description
Provides technical, operations, and training support to users of company's personal computers either by telephone or on-site relative to desktop hardware and software packages. Performs hardware diagnostics and coordinates repairs. Assists in planning and designing personal computer support systems. Acts as liaison for data transfer systems design and implementation. Installs and tests personal computers, printers, and other peripherals; configures operating system, shrink-wrap programs, and applications software programs. Develops reports and databases. Provides technical support for personal computers.
About the role
Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our Digital Workplace team in Brussels. This position provides on-site support for our Corporate Headquarters, alongside remote support across European and Middle East locations. A core element of this role is supporting the Lockheed Martin Digital Engagement Center, an advanced customer collaboration environment featuring interactive and visual technologies that demonstrate our products and capabilities. The successful candidate will ensure the operational excellence of this facility and support demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a balance of strong technical capability, customer engagement, and operational discipline. The Technical Support Specialist will contribute to delivering a secure, reliable, and high-quality end-user computing environment while upholding Lockheed Martin standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide on-site IT support for the Brussels Corporate Headquarters, ensuring a high level of service availability and user satisfaction
• Support the operation and maintenance of Digital Engagement Center technologies, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and coordination of vendor repairs.
• Collaborate with other LM Digital Engagement Centers around the globe on technical solutions and operations.
• Travel as needed to support technical setup for off-site events or trade shows in support of Customer Engagements.
• Ability to work a flex schedule in support of global events or engagements.
• Deliver professional technical support across end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and infrastructure devices.
• Manage incidents and service requests through approved service management tools, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs
• Support video tele-conferencing and audio-visual technologies within meeting and collaboration spaces.
• Maintain accurate asset management records in line with company policies and lifecycle requirements
• Contribute to hardware and software deployment activities, including tech refresh and new technology implementations
• Configure, deploy, and support iOS mobile devices
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
• Provide support for local infrastructure components, including server and network environments, in collaboration with regional teams
• Deliver remote support to international users across Europe and the Middle East as required Required Skills and Experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Professional presence suitable for a corporate and customer-facing environment
• Proven experience in IT technical support within a corporate or enterprise setting
• Strong working knowledge of end-user computing technologies, including hardware and software platforms
• Experience supporting Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft 365 services
• Familiarity with audio-visual and video tele-conferencing technologies
• Working knowledge of Active Directory for user and device administration
• Foundational understanding of networking principles, preferably with exposure to Cisco technologies
• Experience delivering support both on-site and remotely using standard support tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem resolution
• Understanding of information security principles and data protection requirements
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
