Within this division, the Payroll Operations team is responsible for the comprehensive, thorough management of all processes linked to remuneration. It handles the calculation, processing and payment of salaries in line with legal obligations and company policies while ensuring data reliability and employee satisfaction. The P&O -Payroll Operations team is looking for a Payroll Operations Manager (m/f/x) Job Purpose You will provide for an optimal employee experience by guaranteeing that employees are paid on time and correctly, providing them with high-quality services and ensuring the verifiable and traceable management of salaries and employee benefits in accordance with Fluxys' policies and legal framework Your Responsibilities As Payroll Operations Manager, your tasks will be as follows: Manage and coordinate all aspects of salary and employee benefit management for all group companies in Belgium Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers: provide tangible solutions or effectively guide them towards the right HR experts Supervise the payroll: you know all there is to know about payroll tool configuration, quality control and specific calculation management Implement, document and communicate legal and policy changes relating to remuneration and benefits, while raising the team's awareness of the increasing complexity of the field Actively contribute to projects aimed at continuously improving and optimising cross-cutting HR processes Ensure reliable reporting, both legally and internally, on data related to salaries and employee benefits Manage, support and enhance your team: foster dialogue, encourage perspective and do not hesitate to challenge attitudes to boost collective performance About you You hold a master's degree in human resources or finance or have equivalent experience You have 5 to 10 years' expertise in payroll management, with a solid understanding of labour and tax law With three years' experience as a team leader, you can challenge, delegate and support your colleagues, while maintaining a clear view of the company's objectives and each person's role You possess in-depth knowledge of the management of salaries and employee benefits Adopting a process-oriented approach, you can quickly identify the impacts and interrelationships between different HR processes and know how to optimise them This role also expects the following: An analytical, methodical and rigorous approach to work, combined with a keen eye for detail Strong leadership: you know how to bring people together, lead teams and collaborate effectively with a range of partners An assertive attitude: you express your ideas clearly, justify your arguments and can assert your position while respecting the views of others The ability to persuade and influence, in order to make an impact and get your audience on board with your proposals A talent for decision-making, even in complex and constantly changing environments A high degree of autonomy, unfailing responsiveness and the ability to adapt to the challenges of a demanding international environment An innovative mindset and a genuine appetite for thinking outside the box: you enjoy coming up with creative solutions Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to thrive in a multicultural environment and to leverage diversity An ability to forge and maintain strong cross-cutting relationships, facilitating collaboration within the organisation A good command of French and Dutch; knowledge of English would be a plus Why should you apply?
