Wilrijk, Antwerp, Belgium Duration: ASAP – 31 March 2027, with extension possible Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site (mandatory) Industry: Industrial Technology, Manufacturing & IoT Language: Fluent English; Dutch About the Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer specializing in React, TypeScript, and UX to join a digital product team developing and modernizing a customer-facing IoT portal for a leading global industrial technology organization. The platform enables customers, distributors, and service technicians to monitor connected industrial equipment, access dashboards, manage services, view alarms, and analyze operational data. The project focuses on modernizing existing portal functionality, improving user experience, and integrating new platform services and design-system components.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Translate Figma designs and UX requirements into polished, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Build reusable components and contribute to shared design systems and component libraries.
• Improve frontend performance, rendering efficiency, caching, bundle size, and loading states for data-intensive dashboards.
• Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and data structures.
• Extend backend-for-frontend functionality using C# and ASP.
NET Core when required.
• Implement automated unit and component tests using Vitest and Testing Library.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, analysts, testers, architects, and platform teams.
• Work with real-time data, dashboards, charts, and connected-device information.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Use AI-assisted development tools effectively while validating the quality and reliability of generated code.
• Support CI/CD delivery through Azure DevOps pipelines and feature-flag-based releases. Required Skills & Experience
• Several years of hands-on experience developing production-grade applications using React and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend architecture, component design, state management, and API integration.
• Experience with responsive design, accessibility, and frontend performance optimization.
• Practical understanding of UI/UX principles, Figma designs, design systems, and reusable component libraries.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling such as Vite, Vitest, and Testing Library.
• Experience consuming and working with REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of C#, .
NET, or ASP.
NET Core for backend-for-frontend development.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to review AI-generated output critically.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Wilrijk, Antwerp, three days per week. Nice to Have
• Experience with Material UI (MUI), React Router, TanStack Query, and React Hook Form.
• Familiarity with SignalR, WebSockets, Highcharts, or Azure Maps.
• Experience building shared design systems or component libraries used across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, and application telemetry.
• Exposure to product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or experimentation practices.
• Experience with agentic AI, coding agents, or MCP tooling.
• Familiarity with OAuth2/OIDC, role-based access control, and multi-tenant applications.
• Experience with industrial IoT platforms, connected devices, monitoring systems, or data-intensive dashboards.
