IT Team Leader

About the Role
NISH Tech BV is looking for an experienced IT Team Leader & Transition Manager to lead Solution Architecture activities and support a major organizational transformation within a leading European energy and electricity infrastructure organization. The role combines team leadership, Solution Architecture, transition management and operating-model transformation. You will guide Solution Architects across multiple initiatives, establish governance and quality standards, drive transition plans and help integrate architecture and product-oriented teams into a more effective operating model. The position requires a strong combination of architecture expertise, leadership, stakeholder management and transformation experience. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and architecture teams to ensure delivery continuity, remove organizational blockers and achieve measurable transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support a team of Solution Architects.
• Manage workload, assignments and resource planning across initiatives.
• Establish and implement architecture governance models.
• Support architecture decision-making frameworks.
• Clarify roles and responsibilities across Product, Architecture and Delivery functions.
• Drive and monitor transition plans.
• Ensure delivery continuity during organizational transformation.
• Identify and remove organizational, process and stakeholder blockers.
• Facilitate team integration and adoption of new ways of working.
• Build trust, collaboration and team cohesion.
• Establish standardized architecture deliverables and quality controls.
• Monitor operational Solution Architecture activities.
• Facilitate the translation of strategic vision into operational actions.
• Provide progress updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Support the development of a new architecture operating model.
• Contribute to IT architecture steering and governance activities. Required Skills Mandatory Skills
• More than 10 years of experience in transition management and project management.
• Strong IT leadership and team-management experience.
• Experience with IT processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL, TOGAF, ArchiMate and Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Ability to advocate and implement reference architectures.
• Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience with architecture modelling tools.
• Strong collaboration and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Strong result-oriented mindset.
• Dutch and/or French + English. Nice-to-Have Skills
• Energy & Utilities sector experience.
• Experience with mergers and organizational transformations.
• Experience architecting and delivering IT products in Agile environments.
• Experience with operating-model transformation.
• Experience leading architecture-team reorganizations.
• Experience with architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or similar. Experience More than 10 years of transition management and project management experience. Languages Dutch and/or French + English.
