VAT Languages: Excellent Dutch, French and English We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support digital transformation projects within the Assets department of a major company in the energy sector. You will help improve the processes used to maintain and commission high-voltage infrastructure, working closely with business teams, users and IT partners to translate operational needs into practical digital solutions. Projects cover maintenance outage planning, the digitalisation and automation of grid switching, technician safety, offshore infrastructure maintenance, and administrative processes supported by SAP Plant Maintenance. responsibilities:
• Model business processes and support teams in redesigning and improving them.
• Identify business needs and translate them into agreed requirements, epics and user stories.
• Challenge requirements and proposed processes to ensure they meet operational needs.
• Develop business information models to support the requirements.
• Harmonise processes across departments and with an international counterpart.
• Align and validate requirements with business and IT stakeholders, and review functional analyses.
• Test and validate releases following implementation.
• Support change management through training materials, end-user training and post-implementation support.
Your profile
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, requirements gathering and business process modelling.
• A master’s degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of BPMN and UML.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and build consensus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with good planning and organisational skills.
• A flexible, client-focused approach.
• For projects involving administrative support: basic knowledge of SAP PM, or willingness to learn.
• Experience with Enterprise Architect, Jira and TFS/Azure DevOps is an advantage, as is experience in the electricity sector or industrial asset maintenance. Non-EU candidates must hold valid work and residence permits for Belgium. Interested? Apply directly through LinkedIn.
