About the role
You will support EJF's policy and advocacy work across our core priority areas. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who wants real exposure to EU policymaking and to practise legal analysis. What you will work on This is primarily a legal research and analysis role: you will review case law and legal files, conduct research and produce written legal analysis across EJF's policy priorities, namely Third-Party Litigation Funding, Representative Actions, ADR/Ombudsman & Regulatory Redress, Ethical Business Practice & Regulation, Product Liability, and CSDDD and CSRD workstreams on EU, MS and international levels. You will also be involved in policy work, and you will write social media posts and newsletter content based on specific legal files and research you produce. Day-to-day, you will help with legal and policy research, drafting briefing notes and summaries, monitoring EU legislative developments, supporting consultation responses, and contributing to member communications, events and materials. What we are looking for Master's degree (LLM or equivalent) in Law 0–1 year of experience; prior exposure to EU civil justice, product liability, ADR, or corporate sustainability regulation is a strong plus, but not required Strong legal research and analytical writing skills Contract details Duration: 1 year, with a 3-month trial period, with a possibility of extension and growth Working pattern: Part-time, hours to be agreed Start date: January 2027 Reporting line: Managing Director

Remote/hybrid with occasional visits to Brussels
