Role and Responsibilities You will take up the important role of Trading Assistant and will be responsible for duties including: Develop a solid understanding of CIGP’s trading workflow and assist the team in the daily trading related tasks. These tasks include but are not limited to: Assist in pre-trade checks to ensure all orders comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, trading limits, and client mandates. Support traders in the execution of trades across multiple asset classes, including equities, funds, bonds, derivatives, structured products, and FX. Manage order flow and ensure accurate, timely, and orderly execution of trades across relevant platforms and brokers. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all orders, executions, and transactions in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Communicate with clients and Relationship Managers on various account management requests including order and cash management instructions. Support post-trade management, including trade reconciliation and settlement support, with the Operations Team. − Support the team manager in the development and ongoing maintenance of existing and new brokerage relationships in collaboration with the Business Management Team. − Interact with internal teams in Hong Kong and global offices to address ad-hoc requests. − Participate in system enhancements, process optimisation initiatives, and other trading‑related projects. − Assist in the development and automation of trading tools, workflows, and reporting processes. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. (STEM-related degree is a plus) 1-3 years of relevant experience in a financial institution. Fresh graduates are also being considered. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Excel VBA or Python is a plus. Fluent in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus).
