Product Owner

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Product Owner / Scrum Master / Business Analyst to join our team at Morrison Finance. The successful candidate will support a Payments & Cash Management transformation programme for a major financial institution, combining business analysis, backlog ownership and agile delivery facilitation within development teams. This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a solid understanding of end-to-end payment flows, receivables processes and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Gather, analyze and formalize business requirements related to payments, receivables and cash management, and translate them into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria. ✅ Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap and product backlog, and prioritize features based on business value, risk and regulatory constraints. ✅ Model current (as-is) and target (to-be) processes, perform gap analyses and design functional solutions together with IT teams. ✅ Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-up, review, retrospective), remove impediments and foster continuous improvement within the team. ✅ Act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders (treasury, finance, operations) and IT teams (architects, developers, testers), and report regularly on progress, risks and dependencies. ✅ Support testing activities (functional testing, SIT, UAT), validate deliverables and contribute to releases and post-go-live stabilization. Profile: ✅ Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst and/or Scrum Master in IT projects. ✅ Solid knowledge of Payments and Receivables (SEPA SCT/SDD, instant payments, cross-border payments, collections, reconciliation). ✅ Solid knowledge of Cash Management (liquidity management, cash positioning, cash pooling, bank account management, cash forecasting). ✅ Knowledge of payment standards and messaging: ISO 20022 (pain, pacs, camt), SWIFT MT/MX, and ideally EBICS. ✅ Proven experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and backlog management. ✅ Experience in the banking or financial services sector. ✅ Solid command of Jira/Confluence or Azure DevOps, Excel and Microsoft Office tools. ✅ Knowledge of SQL and API concepts is an asset. ✅ Excellent command of English + Dutch and/or French (one fluent, the other passive). ✅ Nice to have: agile certifications (PSPO, PSM, CSM, SAFe POPM), CBAP/IREB certification, experience with treasury or payment platforms (e.g. Kyriba, SAP FSCM/TRM, Finastra, Bottomline), and knowledge of payment regulations (PSD2/PSD3, SEPA regulation, Instant Payments Regulation).
