This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a commanding German voice, professional delivery, and a sharp ear for quality. What You'll Do
Record clear, expressive, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts Listen to and evaluate AI-generated German speech for naturalness, accuracy, and expressiveness Provide structured, constructive feedback to help improve synthesized voice quality Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Full fluency in spoken German — native or near-native speakers strongly preferred Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobook recording, or comparable audio work Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording space Able to consistently deliver engaging, expressive, and clearly articulated performances Naturally detail-oriented with a sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and clarity No prior AI or tech experience required Nice to Have Experience recording for broadcast, animation, e-learning, or commercial voice-over Familiarity with audio editing software or DAW environments Awareness of regional German accent variations — Standard German, Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — record and work when and where it suits you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI speaks to German-speaking people worldwide Gain firsthand exposure to advanced large language models and modern AI speech training Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
