We're looking for an Ecommerce Manager to join DPI, part of DD Group, in Brussels.
As E-commerce Manager you own the commercial performance of our websites once a customer arrives: what they find, what they see, what it costs them and how easily they can buy. You are responsible for online revenue, conversion and the quality of the catalogue across both brands and all four markets.
You bring particular focus to the German-speaking market, where Dental Budget has a significant opportunity, and you act as the link between marketing, pricing, category management and our web agency.
You work alongside the Marketing Manager, who drives traffic to the sites through paid search, email and CRM, and the Marketing Project Manager, who runs the calendar and quality checks. Together you own the full customer journey.
What you will do
• Own online trading. Set and track targets for revenue, conversion, average order value and repeat purchase by site and market. Run a weekly trading rhythm and act quickly on what the numbers show.
• Improve conversion. Identify where customers drop out, from search and product pages through to basket and checkout. Prioritise fixes, run tests and measure the impact.
• Own catalogue and product data quality. Make sure our 45,000 plus references are well categorised, searchable and complete, with accurate content, images and translations, and that product feeds to Merchant Center stay healthy.
• Manage onsite merchandising and search. Homepages, category pages, cross-sell and site search results, working with the Marketing Manager so onsite activity matches the campaign plan.
• Work with pricing and category teams on online competitiveness. Monitor price positioning against competitors in each market and bring clear recommendations on the lines that matter most to customers.
• Lead the platform roadmap with our web agency. Own the backlog, write clear requirements, test releases and play a central role as we invest in and evolve our European e-commerce platforms.
• Report clearly. Build and share simple performance reporting by brand, site and market, so management can see what is working and where to invest. What you bring
• 4 to 8 years in e-commerce management, ideally in B2B distribution or a retailer with a large product catalogue.
• A track record of growing online revenue and conversion, with clear examples of what you changed and the result.
• Strong analytical skills and daily use of GA4 or similar, plus confidence in Excel and product data exports.
• Hands-on experience with an e-commerce platform such as Magento/Adobe Commerce, Shopware, Shopify Plus or similar, and with PIM or product feed management.
• Experience working with developers and agencies: writing requirements, prioritising a backlog and testing releases.
• A good understanding of how pricing, merchandising and user experience drive online sales.
• Fluent German and English. Nice to have
• French or Dutch.
• Experience with Google Merchant Center and marketplace or comparison feeds.
• Experience of a platform migration or replatforming project.
• A background in dental, medical or another regulated, high-SKU sector.
What we offer
• A role with genuine ownership in a business that is investing in its marketing and e-commerce across Europe.
• Hybrid working from our Western European HQ in Brussels.
• An international team working across four countries and several languages.
• The backing and scale of DD Group, with room to grow as the team grows. Who are DPI? With more than 45,000 product references and 20,000 customers, DPI (Dental Promotion & Innovation) is one of the leading players in the European dental market. Founded in 2004, DPI offers a broad range of consumables and equipment, alongside Milling Master, our end-to-end solution from digital scanning through to the delivery of crowns. DPI is part of DD Group, a pan-European dental distribution group operating across the UK, Ireland and continental Europe. Today we run 8 e-commerce websites across four countries under two brands, DPI and Dental Budget. Our marketing is deliberately omnichannel: quarterly flyers, catalogues and promotional print alongside Google Ads, Merchant Center, emailing and CRM automation.
