To strengthen our current team in St Job and Rijkevorsel, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Claims Officer / Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our sales operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to our business success Being part of an experienced and dynamic team, you will be responsible for the follow-up of your customer files and assist your customers via email or phone. You have a hands-on mentality and can work independently. As customer satisfaction and the first-time-right principle are key to us, you will be the point of contact for the customer, where they can turn to with all their questions to ensure their file is completed flawlessly. You will be based in either St-Job or Temse, according to your choice. Your role : Customer Claims & 2nd Line Support
• Taking ownership of customer claims and complaints as the primary point of contact, from initial registration through to resolution and follow-up
• Investigating the root cause of claims, coordinating with internal departments and suppliers, and identifying appropriate corrective actions
• Handling complex or escalated customer cases that require additional analysis and follow-up beyond first-line support
• Ensuring timely and clear communication with customers throughout the claim resolution process
• Providing 2nd-line support and overflow capacity for the broader customer service activities, including:
- Processing and following up customer orders in SAP
- Confirming orders and delivery information to customers
- Placing and monitoring orders with suppliers
- Following up on agreed delivery times and resolving delivery-related issues
- Monitoring stock levels in relation to customer delivery deadlines and contractual agreement
• Ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up of claims, customer cases, and related actions in the relevant systems
• Identifying recurring issues and contributing to structural improvements in processes, service quality, and customer satisfaction

Your Profile
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, good knowledge of French
• Solid IT

MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• SAP knowledge
• Customer-focused, tactful, and polite in communication
• Able to work independently and take initiative where needed
• Versatile and flexible
• Always enthusiastic
• Punctual, precise, and administratively strong
