Prerequisite: You speak Dutch and French, and you live in Belgium You will work as a junior consultant at our client, located in the center of Brussels. The project is estimated to last minimum 6 months. Several extensions are possible, dependent on your deliveries and the clients budget. This is a service-oriented position, and is also very interesting on a relational level, as you will be in daily contact with numerous internal and external customers, as well as external suppliers. Responsibilities
• Responsible for the practical organisation and hosting of mainly internal events and meetings
• You ensure perfect availability of the meeting rooms and event zones on the day of the event by managing/coordinating the various service providers (caterers, cleaning, facility, multimedia, security, setup, etc.) in accordance with the wishes of the customer.
• You are the contact person for the logistical partners during the build-up and breakdown of an event
• You take care of the aftercare/maintenance of the internal event zones (cleaning, reporting defects, inventory and maintenance of furniture, etc....) Qualifications
• You are stress resilient
• 0 a 3 years experience
• Bachelor or Master degree or equal by experience in horeca/event sector
• A background in communications or events is a plus but not a requirement for applying.
• Some experience in Hospitality and/or catering and/or events business is a strong plus
• You are dynamic, enthusiastic, very creative and have a positive attitude. Out-of-the-box thinking is an indispensable quality.
• you are a team player with strong communication skills
• You are very discreet and tactful
• You are very structured and organized, you can multi-task with an eye for detail and respect deadlines.
• You are ideally bilingual French/Dutch (but minimum can talk and understand both), so you can communicate daily with our internal customers and our numerous suppliers. Good knowledge of English is a plus.
• You have absolutely no "9 to 5" mentality and you are very flexible and prepared to work occasionally outside the usual

working hours
