Context Please note that an internship agreement from a Belgian or Dutch university is mandatory to be eligible for this internship. As part of the Finance Roadmap and the ongoing structuring of the Finance Data Pool, the Finance Integration Team within the CFO Department is looking for an intern to support cross-functional coordination on key data topics. The internship sits at the intersection of Finance, data governance and transformation, covering four important domains: Regulatory Reporting, Accounting, Performance Management and Procure-to-Pay. It offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical exposure to strategic Finance initiatives in a regulated banking environment. The intern will work closely with experienced stakeholders and contribute to topics that are increasingly central to the future of the Finance function. Your position The intern will support the day-to-day coordination of the Finance Data Pool and contribute to the smooth follow-up of data-related initiatives across several Finance domains. In this role, the intern will help maintain the central shared log of data topics, monitor progress and ensure that relevant actions, discussions and decisions are properly documented and followed up. The position involves frequent interaction with Data Responsibles, Domain Owners and other consulted stakeholders across the organisation. The intern will contribute to the preparation and consolidation of bi-weekly status updates, support the organisation of coordination meetings with the IDP Team (Data Office) and the Finance Data Team, and assist in the follow-up of topics linked to the BCBS 239 programme. The role also includes documenting interactions with other departments, ensuring that relevant information is correctly cascaded to Finance, and supporting the documentation of end-to-end data flows in the BDP WikiData environment. Beyond coordination activities, the intern will help prepare Finance inputs ahead of stakeholder discussions and decisions, while also providing reliable administrative support through meeting minutes, action tracking, reminders and updates of relevant trackers. This internship is particularly well suited to a candidate looking for a concrete, operational and visible experience combining Finance, data governance and project coordination in a demanding banking setting.
