Working Hours
Normally 4 hours/day, 4 days/week. Occasionally, up to 8 hours/day may be required by request.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to teaching, research and all departmental activities with the proper use of equipment, materials and facilities (e.g. equipment in civil engineering laboratory); Oversee the operation, repair and maintenance of all facilities in the laboratories; Handle purchasing, sourcing and tendering of supplies, materials, equipment and tools required for the laboratories; and Assist in ad hoc projects and perform any other duties as assigned. Skills And Qualifications A Bachelor Degree or above in Engineering or related disciplines; Practical/relevant experience in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment; College or University working experience is preferred; Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent in Putonghua is preferred); and Be highly-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible and able to work independently as well as working in a diverse team environment.
