Your Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Project Manager to strengthen our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, planning, coordinating and leading projects as part of our integrated Operations roadmap and future vision. You will be exposed to several operational functions where you will drive improvement projects. This role requires expertise in at least one operational function, such as warehousing, production, supply chain or quality, as well as an affinity with the other functions. Strong organisational skills and experience in project management and stakeholder management are also required to lead cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic operational initiatives: Developing and executing project plans, schedules and budgets across the different Operations departments (supply chain, quality, warehousing, production). You will play a crucial role in building an integrated Operations roadmap. Process analysis and improvement: Carrying out thorough assessments of existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Developing and implementing optimised processes to improve operational performance. Project management: Leading cross-functional teams as project lead. You will be responsible for taking our improvements to the next level and implementing strategic changes in the areas of efficiency, cost reduction, quality, sustainability and growth projects. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues and taking corrective action to ensure successful project completion. Implementation of best practices: Researching and benchmarking industry best practices. Implementing best practices and innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency and competitiveness. Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as quality control, supply chain, warehousing and logistics to ensure alignment and integration of improvement initiatives across the organisation. Change management: Developing and executing change management plans to ensure the smooth implementation of process improvements. Engaging and training employees on new processes and improvements to ensure successful adoption. Stakeholder engagement: Communicating with and engaging stakeholders at all levels to gather feedback, build support for improvement initiatives and ensure successful project execution. Digital affinity: You have a strong interest in digital tools and how they can be used in a business context. You are not an IT/technology expert, but you understand how value can be created through automation and digitalisation tools.
Your Profile
You hold a master’s degree in economics, engineering or supply chain, or have relevant work experience in Operations. We are looking for candidates with 5 to 10 years’ experience in project management in at least one, preferably several, of the following operational domains: supply chain, inventory management, warehousing and logistics, production, quality. You have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You are confident working with data and performing analyses. You have a strong affinity with and interest in digital tools and systems. You are a dynamic person who does not shy away from a challenge. An entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset will help you thrive in this role. You have the necessary assertiveness to communicate our vision to all stakeholders and convince them. Excellent communication skills, with strong spoken and written English. Willingness to travel to our local sites across Europe. Experience in Lean Six Sigma, preferably at Black Belt level. Experience in PMP/Prince2 is considered an asset.
