DPA, the IT company of two professional organizations—OVB (Orde van Vlaamse Balies) and OBFG (Ordre des Barreaux Francophones et Germanophone)—is dedicated to further automating and digitizing the legal profession.
DPA, which stands for "Digital Platform for Attorneys," is an online platform that enables Belgian lawyers to communicate digitally with the judiciary, fellow lawyers, and third parties.
We are strengthening our team with a Business Analyst who is passionate about digital transformation projects with a social impact and who can bridge the gap between complex functional needs and technical implementation. Ideally the Business Analyst has a degree in law or experience in legal matters
Under the leadership of the COO in close collaboration with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the analysis, documentation and continuous improvement of the justice system's digital platforms

Responsibilities
• Collecting, formalizing and validating business and functional requirements from various stakeholders (legal, technical, administrative).
• Drawing up user stories, use cases, functional specifications and process diagrams.
• Active participation in workshops, demos and test phases to guarantee the quality of the solutions.
• Monitoring the traceability of business requirements and the consistency of the scope.
• Supporting change management through clear documentation and communication.
• Collaborating with IT teams, suppliers, users and legal experts to guarantee the quality and compliance of deliverables.
• Managing the backlog and participating in sprint planning in an Agile context.
• Coordinating and communicating with judicial and institutional stakeholders (courts, registries) regarding platform releases, incidents and user testing.
• Drafting and validating multilingual user communications (banners, newsletters, FAQs and manuals) in Dutch, French and English. Profile
Experience:
minimal 3 years as a Business Analyst in IT or digital projects. Experience in legal matters Languages: Perfectly bilingual in FR/NL (C1/C2, spoken and written) – English at an operational level required. Core competencies:
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Excellent communication skills and diplomacy.
• Stakeholder Management
• Interest or experience in the legal or institutional sector.
• Knowledge of documentation and modelling tools (Jira, Confluence, BPMN/UML, etc.).
• Methodical accuracy and intellectual curiosity. Assets:
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience in regulated sectors (public, financial, etc.).
• Understanding of document management, workflows and system integrations. Offer
• A growing IT company with an ambitious plan to modernize and further digitize the legal profession.
• A gross monthly salary ranging from EUR 4.000 to EUR 5.500 for a full-time position, depending on your relevant experience, plus benefits such as meal vouchers, commuting allowance, additional holidays, group insurance, and outpatient and inpatient insurance.
