Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at W Hong Kong in Hong Kong SAR. This position supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including supervising service teams, coordinating reservations and seating, and ensuring a smooth guest experience. Responsibilities include monitoring food and beverage quality, managing guest feedback, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. The role involves assisting with staff scheduling, training new team members, and supporting hiring decisions. The Assistant Restaurant Manager also helps with basic reporting, cost control, and collaboration with the kitchen and bar to ensure efficient, guest-focused service.
Qualifications
Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Experience in Food & Beverage operations, including understanding of restaurant service standards and product knowledge.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and cross-functional departments.
Experience supporting Hiring and onboarding of restaurant staff, including training and mentoring team members.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in Hong Kong is an advantage.
Relevant education or training in hospitality, restaurant management, or a related field is beneficial.
