About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Manager / Senior Manager to lead client delivery across our Corporate Advisory practice and oversee internal business development initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to financial institutions on complex licensing and compliance mandates, direct high-impact client secondments, and steer the firm’s regional brand and marketing strategy across APAC.

Key Responsibilities
• Advisory Leadership & Client Engagement: Direct end-to-end client mandates encompassing financial licensing, regulatory compliance frameworks, and governance advisory. Act as engagement lead or senior secondee for tier-1 financial institutions and emerging fintech/capital markets clients.
• Practice Growth & Brand Strategy: Formulate and execute the firm’s multi-channel marketing and thought-leadership roadmap. Steer relationships with external marketing/PR agencies, guide social media and digital content initiatives, and turn market insights into business development opportunities.
• Regulatory Intelligence & Thought Leadership: Oversee comprehensive research on evolving regulatory developments, licensing trends, and policy shifts across key APAC jurisdictions; translate regulatory shifts into actionable client solutions.
• Operational Governance & Quality Assurance: Drive operational excellence across engagement lifecycles, ensuring rigorous document control, high-quality deliverables, risk governance, and process optimization.
• Regional Mandate Delivery: Lead ad-hoc strategic projects with the agility to travel within the APAC region to support cross-border engagements and key client relationships. Qualifications &

Experience:
• Degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; post-graduate or relevant professional qualifications preferred.
• 5+ years (Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Manager) of progressive experience in corporate advisory, regulatory consulting, corporate compliance, or legal operations within professional services or financial institutions.
• In-depth understanding of financial licensing regimes and regulatory compliance standards across the APAC region.
• Proven track record in stakeholder management, client delivery, and strategic oversight of corporate branding or content initiatives.
• Exceptional bilingual communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
• Strong leadership, project governance, and analytical capabilities with the ability to manage complex engagements autonomously.
