Tasks
As IT Solutions Architect
- Airline Operations, you translate operational needs into reliable, secure and cost-effective IT solutions. You connect stakeholders, suppliers and Lufthansa Group IT teams to support stable daily airline operations.
• Translate operational requirements into pragmatic IT solution designs.
• Guide projects from intake and pre-study through implementation, testing, go-live, hypercare and handover.
• Advise on integrations, non-functional requirements, risks and technical impacts.
• Ensure solutions are resilient, secure, scalable, supportable and aligned with applicable Lufthansa Group standards.
• Support incident, problem, change and release processes as technical point of contact.
• Maintain solution, interface, support and operational documentation.
• Coordinate suppliers, internal IT, service desk, infrastructure, security and architecture teams.
• Define monitoring, access, recovery, escalation and service acceptance needs.
• Identify technical debt, recurring issues and automation opportunities. Benefits

• At least 5 years’ experience in solution design, technical application support, service delivery or project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture, application landscapes, data flows, interfaces and lifecycle management.
• Able to translate business needs into functional, technical and non-functional specifications.
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware, messaging, authentication, authorisation and connectivity.
• Experience with IT service management and service transition.
• Understanding of security, compliance, monitoring, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Strong documentation, analytical, communication and stakeholder skills.
• Fluent English; Dutch and/or French is an asset.
• Airline or similar time-critical operational experience is an asset.
