ACENSI is looking for a Business Analyst for one of their clients in the Energy Sector based in Brussels : RESPONSABILITIES The Business Analyst is responsible for a functional part of the project. He/she acts as a representative of user needs in his/her trade (e.g. purchasing, supply chain, finance, production, HR, etc.). Main tasks: ▪ Participate in / lead workshops and grooming sessions ▪ Analyze existing documentation to gather requirements from business users ▪ Create PoCs in Python ▪ Perform data analysis ▪ Write functional specifications (PBI, use cases, process design) ▪ Write test cases ▪ Perform integration tests ▪ Act as the link between the Business and the Dev team ▪ Assist the business during acceptance testing ▪ Ensure deliveries and respect deadlines ▪ Production monitoring / maintenance Additional tasks: ▪ Define the target information system ▪ Implement the processes and support change management ▪ Facilitate meetings and workshops ▪ Train users PROFIL Seniority: Confirmed (3 to 5 years of experience) Must have: ▪ Experience in data management ▪ Knowledge and skills in the energy market industry ▪ Data warehousing (Medallion Architecture) ▪ Agile ▪ Technically capable of performing SQL queries and Python coding / scripting ▪ Functional database design / modelling ▪ Comfortable working in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment while maintaining strict customer data privacy requirements ▪ Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, assimilate feedback and assess the impact on your perimeter ▪ Uncompromising integrity and ethical standards ▪ Capacity to atomize and abstract topics to make them more generic ▪ Entrepreneurial spirit and creative approach to problem solving, especially in digital initiatives Should have: ▪ Knowledge of energy forecasting activities ▪ Knowledge of portfolio management, risk management or trading ▪ APIs ▪ AWS ▪ Databricks or PySpark ▪ Insomnia / Postman
