• Physical performance testing of prototype tires: rolling resistance, puncture resistance, durability, and ageing
• Coating test tires with our proprietary formulation using established protocols
• Preparing samples for internal analysis and shipment to partner labs and field-test teams
• Recording experimental data and producing visualisations for the R&D team
• Contributing to the design and improvement of test benches and fixtures
• Maintaining lab equipment and supporting general lab operations Requirements
• Currently enrolled as a student with a mandatory school internship agreement (stage-overeenkomst)
• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering (or similar)
• Hands-on temperament: you enjoy working with equipment, samples, and real products
• Organised and methodical, with attention to reproducibility and clean data logging
• Basic proficiency with Excel and data visualisation. Familiarity with Python or MATLAB is a plus
• Strong attention to lab safety and structured protocols
• Good communication skills in English
• Motivated to learn fast in a startup-paced R&D environment
• Duration: min 4 months
- max 12 (the longer, the better)
• Start date: flexible, however if you can start ASAP this is a plus
