About the Role
NISH Tech BV is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager – Digital Identity to lead complex technical initiatives in the digital identity and trusted digital services domain. You will coordinate technical teams, stakeholders and external partners while translating business, policy and regulatory requirements into clear technical objectives. The role involves digital identity, IAM, PKI, trust services, digital/verifiable credentials and cybersecurity infrastructure, together with governance, risk and compliance considerations. The successful candidate will be comfortable bridging technical and policy perspectives and communicating complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate technical projects related to digital identity.
• Manage scope, timelines, quality, governance, risks and dependencies.
• Translate business, policy and regulatory requirements into technical deliverables.
• Coordinate technical teams, stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Contribute to digital identity, IAM, PKI and trust-service solutions.
• Support digital/verifiable credential initiatives.
• Review technical specifications and implementation proposals.
• Challenge design decisions and assess technical risks.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
• Support governance processes, steering committees and deliverable reviews.
• Coordinate acceptance procedures and project documentation.
• Communicate technical and regulatory subjects to diverse stakeholders. Required Skills
• 10+ years of professional experience in technical project management, digital identity or closely related technical domains.
• Hands-on experience with Digital Identity, IAM, PKI, Trust Services, Digital/Verifiable Credentials or Cybersecurity Infrastructure.
• Experience with secure data exchange, e-government or regulated IT environments.
• Experience bridging technical and policy/regulatory requirements.
• Experience with governance, compliance or policy-driven IT projects.
• Professional Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
• EU Citizenship – Mandatory.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Nice-to-Have Skills
• Knowledge of eIDAS and the EU Digital Identity Wallet.
• Knowledge of Verifiable Credentials.
• OpenID4VC/VP knowledge.
• Knowledge of electronic attestations of attributes.
• Understanding of digital identity trust models.
• Experience with EU or national policy-making processes.
• Knowledge of legislation and implementing/delegated acts.
• French language skills. Languages
• English: Excellent written and spoken communication – required.
