CONTEXT Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. Our teams are made up of tens of thousands of health professionals, logistics and administrative staff. Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence, and neutrality. We are a non-profit, self-governed, member-based organization. The MSF Academy for Healthcare helps frontline healthcare workers strengthen their skills and competencies, aiming to reinforce MSF’s capacity to deliver safe and effective people-centered care. It develops and delivers tailored work-based learning programs for medical and paramedical staff in the health facilities MSF supports. We are looking for a motivated student to join MSF Academy for Healthcare in Brussels and support the Outpatient Care (OPD) Initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation, data analysis, and program support within an international humanitarian organization. The OPD team leads an initiative aimed at strengthening the competencies and skills of consultation providers in patient assessment, clinical reasoning, and clinical decision-making through a person-centered model of care. In collaboration with the MEAL team, the student will contribute to the organization and maintenance of program resources and teaching tools, the adaptation of patient feedback instruments, and the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to support program learning and the continuous improvement of the activities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Under the responsibility of the OPD Project Coordinator, you will be in charge of:
• SharePoint File Management Rename files stored on SharePoint OPD Programme folders in accordance with requests from the administrative team. Apply DR Watson’s file-naming recommendations to ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility of documents.
• Organization of OPD Clinical Mentoring Tools Review, organize, and maintain OPD clinical mentoring tools to ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility. Ensure that all tools:
• Are available in both English and French.
• Reflect the most recent and validated versions.
• Are consistently organized into dedicated English (EN) and French (FR) folders.
• Patient Survey
- Treatment Understanding Tool Develop a treatment-understanding questionnaire to be integrated into the OPD MEAL framework. Conduct a mapping of existing MSF tools developed by the Pharmacy and Health Promotion (HP) teams. Liaise with relevant technical referents, as needed, to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with existing standards.
• Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Analysis Organize, clean, and systematize data collected from focus group discussions conducted across different health centres. Ensure data quality by confirming the availability, anonymization, and completeness of transcriptions. Collaborate with the MEAL team and the OPD Referent on thematic qualitative analysis and the preparation of summary findings and reports.
• CGA Self-Assessment Analysis Review and appraise available data from CGA self-assessments conducted at various health centres. Support the MEAL team and OPD Referent in analysing findings and contributing to reporting outputs. REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience
• Ongoing studies in Social Sciences, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.
• Interest in knowledge management, data analysis, and program learning.
• Proficiency in Excel and SharePoint is required; familiarity with databases and data analysis methods or tools is an asset. Competencies
• Comfortable with digital tools and managing information in a structured way.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with, or strong interest in, qualitative data analysis and the interpretation of findings from surveys and focus group discussions Languages
• Professional Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory
• Swahili is an asset CONDITIONS

Location:
Brussels (Belgium) *Due to legal administrative constraints, given the duration of the contract, candidates must already have the permanent right as Belgian or EU national, and/or valid work permit with mention of "Unlimited access to the labor market" to work in Belgium
