About The Role
As an Embedded Software Developer, you focus on programming and optimizing PLC code for embedded controllers. You work with CoDeSys and contribute to reliable software integration on target systems. You collaborate with product specialists to refine functional specifications and translate them into robust implementations. The role combines hands-on development, alpha testing, follow-up on related software adaptations and clear documentation to support internal simulator testing.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and optimize PLC code for embedded controllers using CoDeSys
• Refine functional specifications with product specialists for implementation
• Program and perform alpha testing on target systems
• Follow up on non-CoDeSys adaptations for HMI, webpages and PC tools
• Document software implementation details and support internal simulator testing What we're looking for You combine embedded software development skills with a practical mindset and the ability to work closely with technical stakeholders from specification through testing.
• Experience with PLC programming for embedded controllers
• Knowledge of CoDeSys for software development and optimization
• Ability to translate functional specifications into implementation-ready software
• Experience with programming and alpha testing on target systems
