At RoboRana, we build applications, agents and integrations that solve business problems. We’re looking for an AI Application Engineer with a strong Microsoft development background who enjoys turning ideas into reliable software. You contribute to architecture decisions, stay close to the code and help colleagues deliver solutions that are secure, maintainable and ready for production. ##

What you'll do

- Build applications, backend services and REST APIs with C#/.
NET, ASP.
NET Core and SQL.
- Develop and deploy solutions on Azure, using services such as Azure Functions and App Service where they fit the requirements.
- Contribute to architecture and integration decisions, explaining trade-offs and keeping the solution proportionate to the business need.
- Build agents and integrations, connecting business applications to the data and functionality they need.
- Make quality part of delivery through automated tests, code reviews, clear documentation and reusable components.
- Implement authentication and access controls, manage secrets securely and add the logging and monitoring needed to support solutions in production.
- Use coding agents and other AI tools to develop, test and review software, taking responsibility for the quality of the generated code.
- Help colleagues work through technical challenges and improve our development practices through hands-on collaboration. ‍ ## Who you are
- Solid development experience with C#/.
NET, ASP.
NET Core, REST APIs and SQL, including delivering applications on Azure.
- Familiar with Copilot Studio and how to extend agents and Power Apps or Dataverse solutions through custom connectors, APIs and Azure services.
- Comfortable with Git and CI/CD through Azure DevOps or GitHub, and with testing and reviewing code as part of everyday development.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities and secrets management, with attention to security and operational support.
- Able to assess AI-generated code critically, identify weaknesses and improve its design, correctness and maintainability.
- A hands-on developer who can explain technical choices clearly and work with clients and colleagues in Dutch and English. ## Nice to have
- Fullstack experience with TypeScript/React or Blazor.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph, Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Search.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect agents to business knowledge and functionality. ## What we’ll offer
