We are looking for a Technical Analyst (5 years of experience) to support a major AML monitoring project in Brussels. You will manage the current AML monitoring tool and develop additional detection scenarios. The position follows a hybrid model with 50% on-site work and 50% homeworking. The start date is as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate AML risk analyses into effective and relevant detection scenarios.
- Write SAS scripts to test and refine scenario logic through historical data simulations.
- Review simulation results with the AML Framework team to validate scenario effectiveness.
- Configure detection scenarios in NetReveal or develop SAS-based detection scripts.
- Test configurations and scripts in the test environment and deploy them to production.
- Contribute to audit-trail documentation to ensure full development traceability.
- Assist in preparing presentations for the AML/CTF TM Framework Committee.
- Support the Business Analyst with change processes for L1 and L2 teams.
- Participate in aftercare activities by analysing alert volumes and relevancy rates.
- Contribute across disciplines within a cross-functional Agile team when required to achieve sprint goals. Must-Have Requirements
- You have at least five years of relevant experience.
- You have several years of experience in the AML domain.
- You have mandatory experience with NetReveal, primarily Scenario Manager.
- You have mandatory experience with SAP BusinessObjects.
- You have mandatory experience with SAS Enterprise Guide and SQL.
- English proficiency.
- Proficiency in Dutch AND / OR French. Interested? Apply directly.
