*ACENSI Belgium is looking for a
* *Business Analyst* *for one of its client in the insurance sector.
* Role Overview The role focuses on Front-Office topics within the transformation roadmap, primarily in Non-Life Insurance. The Business Analyst contributes to the definition of high-quality end-to-end IT solutions, with a strong focus on creating an excellent user experience for brokers and partners. The position requires solid Business and Functional Analysis capabilities, relevant insurance expertise and a strong UX / user-needs focus. Responsibilities Business & Functional Analysis
- Own the analysis and functional documentation within the Broker Front Product Team, with a focus on Non-Life Insurance.
- Translate business analysis, architectural vision and imposed standards into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in stakeholder workshops to collect, clarify and structure requirements. Process Modelling & Documentation
- Model agreed business processes and describe needs in a clear and unambiguous way.
- Use use cases and structured documentation that can be understood by Business, Technical Analysts, Design teams and offshore Back-Office teams.
- Apply analysis and modelling techniques such as BPMN and UML where relevant. Coordination & Delivery
- Ensure coordination and knowledge transfer between Business and IT and all other parties involved.
- Collaborate effectively with external parties, onsite and offshore.
- Ensure design guidelines are followed and kept up to date.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality IT solutions within the agreed scope, time and budget Requirements
- Native-level Dutch and very good English.
- 3+ years of Insurance experience.
- Business / Functional Analysis experience in a large insurer.
- Non-Life Insurance knowledge.
- Broker Front / Front-Office / UX exposure.
- Underwriting and/or Claims knowledge is a strong asset.
- BPMN / UML / Use Cases and Agile experience are valuable assets
