About Falk & Ross. Falk & Ross Group Europe (Sembach, Germany) is a B2B supplier of blank apparel to resellers and decorators, part of The Cotton Group since November 2024. It serves 58,000 registered customers (28,000 active) in 31 European countries from a catalogue of 2,500 styles and 60,000 SKUs. It is replacing its legacy OXID web shop with a Shopify Plus B2B platform, integrated with Akeneo PIM, Salesforce CRM, HubSpot and the ERP (Sage 100 today, Sage X3 expected in about two years).
This role owns the product data behind the shop: the Atamaya-to-Akeneo migration, enrichment and cleansing of the catalogue, and the governance that keeps Akeneo, the ERP and Shopify aligned on the FR9 code. It
The Role, What You Will Own
- Migration and work packages: run the Atamaya-to-Akeneo migration as team manager of the PIM work package, with Induxx handling the technical migration and your team the enrichment and cleansing.
- Catalogue governance: set and enforce data standards for 2,500 styles and 60,000 SKUs (up to 500 variants per style), with the FR9 code as the 9-digit key across ERP, Akeneo and Shopify.
- Market readiness: track catalogue completeness by market and language across 31 countries and report it to the Project Lead for each Highlight Report and go-live gate.
- Akeneo to Shopify sync: with Ask Phill and the ERP Integration Owner, validate the event-driven, near real-time sync of products, variants, bundles and attributes, and resolve data defects at source.
- Temporary team: direct, train and quality-check the temporary catalogue resources, and document procedures, mappings and data rules so they stay with the organisation.
- Assets and DAM: with the Marketing & UX Lead, hold the minimum asset standard for go-live and prepe the link to Bynder when that workstream restarts.
- Business as usual: after migration, move into the standing PIM expert role: new collections, seasonal updates, data quality KPIs and support to the Shopify Product Manager. Candidate Profile, Mandatory Requirements *PIM and catalogue
*
- Hands-on experience with Akeneo PIM (families, attributes, completeness rules, channels, locales) on a large catalogue, ideally apparel or another variant-heavy range.
- Led a PIM migration or catalogue cleansing programme, including enrichment of product data across several languages.
- Understanding of how product data flows to a Shopify storefront, and of ERP-owned fields such as SKU, price and stock. *Leadership, language and location
*
- Able to manage, train and quality-control non-specialist or temporary staff against a defined data standard.
- Works well with an implementation partner (Induxx) and an integrator (Ask Phill), and reports clearly on progress and risk.
- English fluent; German and/or French advantageous. Hybrid from Belgium (Brussels corridor), with EU travel as required. What Success Looks Like The Atamaya-to-Akeneo migration complete, a catalogue that is complete and consistent on the FR9 code in every market at go-live, a temporary team that leaves its procedures behind, and one clear owner of product data quality in business as usual.
