We are looking for an experienced Functional & Data Analyst to join our team and support business and data-driven initiatives within the Energy sector . The ideal candidate will combine strong functional analysis and data analysis capabilities with a good understanding of financial processes , particularly financial closing. Experience with invoicing processes within the Energy sector will be considered a strong advantage. The role requires a proactive, hands-on professional who can work independently, understand complex business requirements, translate them into functional solutions, and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders. 2.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications .
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data teams, and technical teams .
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, particularly within the Energy and Financial domains .
- Analyze and support processes related to financial closing and reporting .
- Contribute to invoicing-related processes within the Energy sector where applicable.
- Develop and maintain data queries and analyses using SQL .
- Use Python for data analysis, processing, and automation where required.
- Create, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards and reports .
- Validate data quality, consistency, and accuracy across different systems and sources.
- Translate business needs into actionable data and reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation .
- Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and negotiate solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives .
- Support testing, validation, and implementation of functional and data solutions.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 3. Mandatory Requirements
- Proven professional experience within the Energy sector .
- Proven experience in the Financial sector , preferably with exposure to processes such as financial closing .
- Proven experience in Functional Analysis .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Hands-on and proactive approach .
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned activities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills .
- Strong experience in stakeholder management .
- Good knowledge of:
- SQL
- Python
- Power BI
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment . 4. Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Energy invoicing processes .
- Knowledge of Energy market processes and business operations.
- Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Experience with data quality and data governance.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Familiarity with BI/data visualization best practices.
