- The AI core: document structure extraction, retrieval, the research agent, and the evaluations that prove it works
- Technical and product direction of an AI-native codebase (much of it written with coding agents)
- Customer conversations, demos and pilots: you hear the problem first-hand
- Building the tech team as we grow Who you are
- A senior engineer who has shipped LLM/ML systems to real users (RAG, agents, document AI, evaluation)
- You measure before you build, and you prefer a two-day experiment to a two-month build
- You love to learn, build, iterate and repeat
- Curious about customers, comfortable with uncertainty, eager to learn what building a company takes
- Ready to go all in: a full-time founder role with skin in the game, not a side project
- Bonus: legal/regtech experience, multilingual NLP, a PhD in AI/ML or mathematics What I offer
- Significant co-founder equity based on contribution (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff)
- A salary once we reach stable cash flow or raise sufficient funding
- Real ownership of technology and product, with decisions made together
- Being part of the Start it @KBC acceleration program: mentors, partners, training and a strong network of like-minded founders
- A co-working office in central Brussels; remote work is possible, and I'd like us to have regular days together
- Candidates from other countries are welcome; everything is open to discussion
- A 1–2 month transition period to get to know each other
