As an
Epic Owner IT4IT
, you will contribute to the delivery of the IT roadmap according to the
SAFe Agile methodology
. A strong player in the bank is looking for an Epic Owner with experience and an interest in
IT infrastructure and IT security-related projects
.
Your role and responsibilities
- Plan, structure and coordinate epics and related change activities to ensure efficient and coherent delivery.
- Lead epics in areas such as cybersecurity, access management and compliance , with a focus on a secure and resilient IT environment.
- Define, create and manage the epic roadmap and Lean Business Case , including monitoring benefit realisation .
- Work closely with:
- Business Owner
- Epic Portfolio Lead
- Solution Manager
- Enterprise Architect
- Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- Vendor Management and Procurement
- Ensure stakeholder buy-in and prioritisation of features within the epic.
- Organise and lead meetings and Agile ceremonies .
- Represent Infrastructure & Operations during Program Increment (PI) planning . Profile
- Master’s degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as an Epic Owner or Project Manager, preferably within a banking or insurance environment .
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- IT infrastructure
- IT security
- Workplace / end-user computing
- IT integration
- Knowledge of:
- Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Project methodologies such as Agile and PRINCE2
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate strategy into concrete actions.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience; strong communicator, results-oriented and assertive.
