PM Group are seeking an experienced and talented Commercial Lead to oversee complex construction contracts for a high-profile Mission Critical Data Center construction project in Belgium.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with significant experience managing commercial and contractual aspects of the construction project, with a focus on risk management, change control, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead all contracting (pre-award & post award) and commercial management for a large-scale mission critical facility construction projectReview, negotiate, and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreementsEnsure compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company policiesDevelop and implement change management processes, including evaluation of change orders and claimsMonitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow to ensure commercial viabilityIdentify and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycleManage relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholdersPrepare monthly commercial reports and present to senior managementLead contract close-out processes and final account negotiations
Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of commercial management experience in a leadership or senior position in large scale construction projects, ideally Mission Critical / Data Centers in Europe.Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related fieldStrong understanding of Danish construction law and contract administrationExperience with main construction industry standard forms of contractProficiency in contract risk assessment and mitigation strategiesAdvanced negotiation and stakeholder management skillsExcellence in financial analysis and reportingStrong leadership and team collaboration skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAdvanced negotiation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProfessional working proficiency in English, French and Dutch is and advantage.Full time on site is preferred.
