WHO MAY APPLY?

Hauptaufgaben

You will:

• Provide comprehensive personnel management advice on employment programs.
• Act as a key liaison to participating agencies and guides managers on Human Resources Programs
• Serve as the primary interface between Civilian Human Resources Service Centers (CHRSC), management, and employees.
• Manage, evaluate, and track Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs / SF-52s) using DoW automation systems like DCPDS, FASCLASS, and EMPRes
• Provide DoW civilian personnel systems support to employees and managers.
• Coordinate local training courses, tracks attendance data, and complete required reporting.
• Use various software packages to accomplish assignments.
• Manage different programs in the HR arena.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

At the BA-09:

Applicants must demonstrate at least one year of experience in the same or a similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position, as described in the KSA's section. To be creditable, experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (BA-07).

Substitution of Education:

A Master degree (or equivalent) successfully completed in a related field (e.g. Sciences Administratives et gestion publique, Sciences commerciales ou gestion des ressources humaines, etc. ) is qualifying at the BA-09 level.

Foreign education must be evaluated for Belgian equivalency.

KSAs

- Knowledge of English and French to interact with supervisors, other management officials, and counterparts at the servicing civilian personnel office.

- Knowledge office automation software and software types.

- Ability to handle calls and receive visitors with an extremely high degree of discretion, tact and diplomacy.

- Ability to manage several HR related programs such as the Career Service recognition program and awards program.

- Ability to prepare and present training workshops related to civilian personnel programs.
