Program Manager OT Cybersecurity ENG/NL

Job description

Context

For a leading industrial services company in the nuclear sector, the role concerns OT cybersecurity projects on client sites in Belgium, including SCK, belgoprocess, and Beaulieu.

Missions

• Manage all OT cybersecurity projects on the site

  • Projects initiated by the client

  • Projects handled by the project teams

• Lead projects from analysis and design through implementation and delivery

• Ensure alignment and priorities across the different projects

• Operationally manage OT engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and external partners

• Manage scope, planning, budget, risks, and resources

• Be the fixed point of contact for the client

  • Maintain a daily presence on site

• Support cybersecurity assessments, audits, and maturity trajectories

• Report progress at operational level and to the client's management

• Coordinate projects around network segmentation, secure remote access, asset management, monitoring, and OT security governance

• Support the client in implementing its cybersecurity strategy according to applicable norms and standards

• Ensure quality, safety, compliance, and profitability

• Coach engineers and project staff

Organisation & Daily Work

• The role involves managing the OT cybersecurity projects on the site and keeping an overall view of the portfolio.

• The person acts as the client's main contact and manages OT engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and external partners.

• The assignment includes assessments, audits, and maturity trajectories, with reporting to operational teams and client management.

• The role requires guiding engineers and project staff and explaining technical risks to people without OT background.

Working Conditions

• On site at the client.

• Number of positions: 2.

• Sites: nuclear companies in the Kempen (SCK and belgoprocess) and West Flanders (Beaulieu).

• Preferred end date: 2026-12-31.

Requirements

1. 3 years of experience with OT cybersecurity
2. 10 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or networks
3. Extensive experience in project or program management in an industrial environment
4. Strong knowledge of network segmentation, firewalls, secure remote access, monitoring, security governance, cybersecurity assessments, audits, maturity trajectories, budget management, contract management, reporting, and interaction between IT and OT
5. Familiarity with standards such as IEC 62443 and NIS2
6. Experience in the nuclear sector or another highly regulated environment is a plus
7. Experience with tools like PLC, SCADA, DCS, industrial networks, IT and OT
8. Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
9. Bachelor or master degree in automation, electromechanics, IT, cybersecurity or equivalent
10. Driving licence B
11. Soft skills: able to keep an overview across multiple ongoing projects and identify priorities, works accurately and in a structured way, leads the team with clear agreements and follows up until completion, communicates easily with both floor engineers and client management, explains technical risks clearly to non-OT background people, enjoys sharing knowledge with engineers and project staff
