DHL Express is looking for a HR Business Partner in Diegem.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
- Act as a consultant advising on different HR disciplines to Business Managers and employees at local level
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with business leaders across the DHL group
- Undertake a broad range of HR work spanning across employee lifecycle
- Facilitate the complete recruitment process from Approval to Screening.
- Coaching & advising line management
- Provide input to and participate in local implementation of HR plans and policies to build a culture that encourages high performance and retention of talent
- Support business growth or transformation/ change agenda to ensure a sustainable & healthy organizational capability / act as a change agent
- Stay current with internal and external best HR practices and trends and labor legislation
- Anticipate, identify and resolve risks or issues to ensure a successful outcome
- Cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers
- Support managers with hiring process, contracts and on boarding new employees
- Facilitate delivery of employee development needs and drive local learning & development initiatives
- Conduct preparatory talks and meetings with managers and employees with respect to policy adherence and compliance.
- Enhance awareness and compliance with company policies/ and procedures and legal requirements/ regulations
Do you have what it takes?
- Master Degree in HR/Psychology/Business Administration/Labour Law certification is an advantage
- Min. 6 years job related experience
- Experience in recruitment
- Ability to build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers
- Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise customers and key stakeholders
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, often with limited guidelines.
- Works independently with very limited supervision, showing ownership and accountability for outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of the key HR processes
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building ability
- Innovative thinking & adaptability
- Eye for compliance and standard control
- Intermediate cross-cultural competence level
- Strong customer – and solution orientation
- Fluency in Dutch and English are required; additional languages are considered an advantage.
