As Field Service Engineer, you will ensure the performance, safety, and compliance of advanced medical technologies across hospitals in Wallonia and Luxembourg. This is an ideal opportunity for a recently graduated engineer eager to launch a hands-on technical career in the healthcare environment.What you will doIn-depth troubleshooting of equipment and interconnected systems (mechanical, electronic, firmware/basic software)Repair, reassembly, and adjustments including parts identification and calibration to spec/tolerancesExecute root cause analysis on recurring failures; propose and implement corrective actionsProduce complete service documentation (service reports, NCs, test certificates)Confident with diagnostic instruments, oscilloscopes, calibration tools, and torque managementSolid understanding of QMS, CAPA, traceability, EHS/ISO requirementsBegins taking initiative to improve processes, products, quality, cost-efficiency/profitability, and safety/health conditionsHas a good understanding of procedures and functional conceptsFully masters the repair procedures and product ranges within scopeIs versatile across multiple product families and contributes actively to the team’s activityPerforms standard work tasks in addition to field interventionsAble to identify anomalies and escalate them appropriately to the relevant contactsWhat you will needRequired qualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in field service engineering type of roleFluency in FrenchProfessional working proficiency in EnglishBasic technical knowledge of electronics and/or mechanical systemsValid drive's licensePreferred qualificationsProficiency in DutchBachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical fieldKnowledge of medical device servicing and regulatory standardsInitial experience using service management or technical documentation systemsAdditional InformationTerritory: Wallonia and Luxembourg (ideal candidate based near Namur or Liège)Field-based role with regular travel to customer sitesHands-on, customer-facing position supporting healthcare facilitiesTravel Percentage: 90%
