As a Divisional Sourcing Project Leader, your mission is to reduce product cost while ensuring high standards in quality, logistics performance, and technical feasibility. You are responsible for managing purchasing and sourcing activities within international projects across multiple entities, commodities, and product families. You will report to the team leader sourcing.

You will

analyse products, suppliers, and market alternatives to identify cost optimization opportunities and benchmark sourcing performance against other divisions and competitors.
translate divisional sourcing strategies and purchasing excellence expectations into concrete actions across product companies and project teams.lead complex global sourcing projects aimed at delivering cost reductions, innovation and operational synergies across entities.define, communicate, and follow up on project schedules, working plans, milestones, and performance targets, including lead times, audits, supply specifications, and cost improvement objectives.interact with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure resources, align expectations, and ensure project execution within agreed budget and timing constraints. As global sourcing project leader, you monitor project performance continuously and implement corrective actions when required to maintain progress and efficiency.collaborate with suppliers to optimize product design, production processes, quality performance, and logistics efficiency, with the objective of minimizing total cost of ownership. You create an environment in the buyer-supplier relationship that setups for long term success/sustainable growth. You also actively research new suppliers, technologies, and sourcing markets while promoting buy-in across the organization for the qualification of new solutions.act as a driver of change within sourcing projects. You facilitate cross-functional and cross-entity collaboration, including lean initiatives, best practice sharing, and methodology improvements. You participate in global meetings related to commodity strategies and sourcing activities, respecting the geographical and cultural diversity of stakeholders.ensure within every project compliance with BCOP, environmental, and safety targets while actively contributing ideas to reduce energy consumption and improve working conditions.report project status, critical path risks, milestones, and proposed solutions to the organization to support decision making and target achievement.

You have 3-5 years of experience, working as a purchaser or SQA Engineer.

Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Economics, or equivalent through experienceStrong project management and stakeholder coordination skillsAnalytical and data-driven mindset with good negotiation abilitiesKnowledge of production, logistics, or supply chain processes; controller, drive and/or electrical motor process knowledge is a plusProfessional English communication skills with a feel for diplomacyIn return,

Hybrid
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our premises in Wilrijk, Belgium.
