Job description
Join Amaris Consulting and contribute to one of Belgium's most ambitious infrastructure and renewable energy programs. We are looking for a Quality Officer Offshore to support a large-scale offshore engineering project, ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced quality professional who thrives in complex engineering environments and enjoys working with multidisciplinary international teams.
🔥 Your Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor all Quality Assurance activities within a major offshore infrastructure project.
- Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of the project's Quality Management System.
- Act as the main point of contact for quality-related matters with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
- Review, assess and challenge quality documentation provided by contractors and subcontractors.
- Participate in and support internal and external quality audits.
- Monitor quality performance indicators, non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Identify quality risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
- Promote a strong quality culture across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction and project management teams to guarantee compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
🎯 Your Profile
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including solid experience in Quality Assurance within engineering or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Quality Standards and Quality Control processes.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, civil engineering, offshore, maritime or EPCI projects is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and documentation management skills.
- Comfortable reviewing technical documentation and interacting with contractors.
- Structured, proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
- Dutch is considered as an asset.
- Willing to travel occasionally within Belgium and offshore when required.
