Senior Wellness Instructor

Department: Spa & Wellness
Reports to: Spa & Wellness Manager

We are currently seeking a Senior Wellness Instructor to join the Spa & Wellness team at Sontei Kyoto Shangri-La Signatures.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional fitness, aquatic, and wellness experiences to hotel guests and members. As a senior member of the team, you will also support wellness operations, ensure guest safety, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to the continued development of our luxury wellness offering.

Requirements

Recognized Personal Trainer Certification Valid Lifeguard Qualification Current CPR & First Aid Certification Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the fitness industry Strong swimming and rescue capabilities Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1) Passion for wellness and luxury hospitality Strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills Demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities Professional, positive, and service-oriented attitude Experience in luxury hotels, wellness resorts, private clubs, or premium health clubs is an advantage Wellness Coaching, Yoga, Pilates, Mobility, Corrective Exercise, or Functional Training certifications are an advantage Pre-opening hotel experience and multilingual communication skills are highly desirable

主な業務内容

ラグジュアリーウェルネス体験の提供 フィットネス施設運営 プール運営およびライフガード業務 ゲストリレーションの構築 安全衛生・コンプライアンスの推進 開業準備およびリーダーシップ支援

応募資格

パーソナルトレーナー資格 ライフガード資格 CPRおよび応急救護資格 フィットネス業界での実務経験3～5年以上 優れた水泳および救助スキル ビジネスレベルの英語力および日本語力（JLPT N1相当） ウェルネスおよびホスピタリティへの情熱をお持ちの方 優れたコミュニケーション能力および接客力をお持ちの方 チームメンバーの育成・指導経験をお持ちの方 ラグジュアリーホテル、ウェルネスリゾート、会員制クラブ等での経験があれば尚可 ウェルネスコーチ、ヨガ、ピラティス等の資格をお持ちの方歓迎 ホテル開業準備経験や多言語対応スキルをお持ちの方歓迎
